Marfil is an institution of melodic music and pop-rock, pioneers in introducing the medley format in Spain during the early 80s. With several Gold Records and the “Aplauso” award from TVE for Best Spanish Group, the band has evolved from its beginnings with the legendary Bélter label to become what is now known as Marfil El Origen.
Today, the group is more relevant than ever, presenting a vibrant show featuring the live voices of Marino Ruiz (original singer), Susana Ruiz, Joana Mas, and Raúl Martínez. Their repertoire is a sonic journey ranging from boleros and ballads to funky and rock, reinterpreting icons such as Michael Jackson, Earth Wind & Fire, or Luis Miguel. Boasting over 300 million views on YouTube thanks to their collaboration with Sony Pictures for the film “Bullet Train” (starring Brad Pitt), Marfil proves that great music is timeless.
