Josep Mas “Kitflus” (born 1954, Mollet del Vallès) is one of the most influential and respected figures in Catalan music of the last 50 years. A prodigiously talented pianist, composer, and producer, Kitflus was a pioneer of jazz-fusion in Spain as a founding member of legendary bands such as Iceberg and Pegasus. His sensitivity and mastery made him an indispensable part of Joan Manuel Serrat’s career, serving as his pianist, arranger, and musical director for decades.
Today, the maestro presents an intimate and sophisticated project alongside the captivating voice of Joana Amaro. Together, they offer a masterful revision of the Bolero genre, where Kitflus’s piano virtuosity blends with Amaro’s warm interpretation to create an atmosphere of pure emotion and nostalgia.
