Backgala is the new acoustic project formed by Violant Guañabens (vocals) and Manel Ramis (guitar), both members of the renowned Janis Joplin tribute band “La Kozmic Band”. In this intimate format, the duo revisits the great Pop and Rock classics, transforming them and making them entirely their own.

With a proposal that aims to surprise the audience, Backgala filters iconic songs through genres such as Blues, Soul, Rhythm & Blues, and Reggae, creating what they call the “Backgala sound”. It is a prejudice-free review of classics, where the chemistry between vocals and guitar offers a fresh, elegant musical experience full of nuances.
